Sjoelen

Sjoelen has been played in the Netherlands for centuries. It’s a tabletop game that involves sliding wooden pucks down a long, narrow board and through the holes at the end. If you’re not a pro, the pucks tend to miss and stack up, so blocking the holes. The more you try, the more difficult you make it for yourself. There’s probably a life lesson in their somewhere but this tile design eschews life lessons and instead, through the medium of handmade, screen-printed Eclipse tiles, evokes the fun and chaos of people of all ages playing sjoelen together!
