The use of clean, often modular, geometry is a hallmark of mid century modern design, and frankly we’re a little bit overcome by the possibilities of representing this design style in ceramic tiles, both screen-printed and Relief. That’s why we’ve created FIVE different designs, each a variation on the theme of small shapes. In design ONE, the individual elements combine to create a larger, undulating pattern which brings to mind hanging garlands or ‘slingers’ as they are called in Dutch.
