We first thought to call the tiles which make up this design ‘broken leaves’ but then we started to see birds within the screen-printed shapes; Toucans, to be specific. So that’s what we called it. But now we’re not so sure. In this layout design, the Toucans have transformed into a bamboo forest with exotic-coloured leaves. Stare for a while though, as people do with these tiles, and you may see a bird with a huge, colourful beak peaking out from behind the leaves.
