The inspiration for this design may seem obvious but it actually came from a client. We normally provide two design options at the project at the start, just to establish a direction of travel. Then we adapt according to client feedback. This client chose one option and asked for it to be lighter, more diffuse, “like seeing a flock of birds in the sky”. It was great feedback and it’s striking how the colours can suggest a time of day for the birds in flight.
