The Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama has a thing for repetition. And polka dots. A film of her early life shows her standing waist-deep in a lake and painting fleeting dots onto the surface of the water. Her hallucinatory artwork has made her one of the 21^st century’s über-artists but as far as we know she has never experimented with ceramic, screen-printed tiles. Which caused us to wonder, what would she create if she did?
